Decorating for Christmas!

This is our lovely Chrismas Tree. I picked it out along with my dad, and Brandon wasn't too happy. He likes the dark green trees that are completely full and fat, but it was the 12th and we didn't have a tree yet so I went and got one. So at least we have a tree!

Kaybree loved helping decorate. First of all Brandon put all the beads around her neck and she loved it. Then she wanted to help put the balls (bulbs) on the tree and she kept putting them all in the same place. So this is Kaybree's decorating of the tree! She was such a good helper!
We had to try on her snow suit. She wanted to go for a ride with daddy on the Rhino, so she gladly put it on and wanted to go! Then she didn't want to get off the Rhino, and didn't want to take off her snow suit!

What a cute little purple marshmellow!
This was at my Mom and Dad's ward Christmas party. She really wasn't scared of Santa but she sure took a good look at him. In case you didn't notice Santa (my dad)!! By the time she got off his lap she took one last look at him and said "Pa pa"! It was cute, but hopefully she won't remember next year!

THANKSGIVING!

With Thanksgiving only a few days away, I just wanted to let everyone know how thankful I am for my wonderful husband and beautiful little girl. They mean the world to me. I don't know what I would do without them.

This is my family. I am so thankful for all they do for me and for the closeness that we have. We are able to see each other weekly, if not more. I love being able to see my brothers being such great fathers and the awesome wives they have, and the most beautiful little girls in the world. It's so much fun to be so close, and to be able to let them play and grow together.

Kira, Troy, Makynlee, Mom, Dad, Me, Brandon, Kaybree, Julie, Cory, and Maycie. I have to give the biggest thanks to my parents. They are really the best anyone could ever ask for. They are even better Grandparents, and are constantly watching one of the girls. They are really a big help, and mean so much to me.
Thanks Mom & Dad!!
Happy Thanksgiving to all, and eat lots of turkey!!

Playing with our puppies!

Kaybree loves our puppies. I guess they really aren't puppies anymore but that's what she calls them! This is Ruger, she is one of Ryder's puppies.
Kaybree climbing on Mama Ryder. This was our first dog, before Brandon and I got married. She had 2 litters of puppies, and Ruger was from her second litter. They are so good with Kaybree.

Kaybree's 1st Pony tail!

I couldn't believe it all fit into a pony tail. Daddy loved it! This was after her bath one night. It didn't last long, cause she went to bed and it all fell out!

She concentrating hard on putting the q-tips back into the box after spilling them all over!

Halloween!

Kaybree was a little butterfly. She wasn't too excited about putting on her costume. Once it was on she kept on saying "Stuck" and pulling on the costume to take it off. We had a great Halloween this year, and really enjoyed taking Kaybree trick-or-treating!

Playing in the leaves. Actually, she's being tortured by Mommy and Daddy taking pictures!

Eating tootsie rolls from Great Grandma Joell's!

Grandma Cori was wearing this wig when she answered the door, and Kaybree didn't know what to think. Then we tried it on her, she was okay for a minute, then she stuck out her lip, and started crying!

Kaybree with cousin Makynlee dressed as Tinkerbell. At Grandma and Grandpa Reese's house. The girls loved helping Grandpa open the door and give candy. There were times they were a bit frightened at the people at the door!

Kaybree and cousin Maycie dressed as a bee. Helping Grandpa open the door!
Maycie and Kaybree with Grandpa. Grandpa absolutely loves having three little granddaughters, and spoils them rotten (Grandma does too!)! I think Grandpa had more fun than the girls!

Outside playing with Grandpa's decorations, and trying not to break them!

Carving Pumpkins

Kaybree getting ready to carve pumpkins! She loves pumpkins, I think it's because she can actually say "Pumpkin".

Being a little cheese ball!

She liked the pumpkins until we opened them up! She has always been funny about feeling different things. She goes crazy if her hands get sticky, so the gooey insides really freaked her out!

She started screaming at Daddy, because he tried to make her touch it!

All done carving. Mommy's pumpkin!

Daddy's pumpkin!

Our lovely pumpkins!
Kaybree didn't like it when we lit them up and turned out the lights. She kept pointing to the light switch, to turn the lights back on!

Camping

We love to go camping as a family. Kaybree absolutely loves to go for fourwheeler rides, and playing in the dirt! This was in July, we went up Fairview Canyon for the weekend.
Kaybree gets so serious when helping Daddy drive the Rhino!

But yet she can be so goofy too!

Coal Mine

In July, at Skyline Mine, where Brandon works, they let the families take a tour if they wanted to. So a bunch of us did. We actually got to go underground to see what our husbands do at work for 13 hours. It is a pretty amazing system, but I don't think I could ever work underground. It's too dark for me. I need to see sunlight!

KAYBREE

This is our baby, Kaybree May Brothersen. She is now 16 months old. Wow, how time flies! She is a little comedian, and loves attention. We enjoy spending every minute we can with her.

Kaybree absolutely loves baby dolls right now. Everything is baby, baby, baby! She is starting to talk really well, and loves animals and making the sounds they make. She is full of energy and brings joy to all those who are around her!

New Blogger

Watch out! I don't know what I'm doing, but have been told by a few friends and sister-in-law that "Blogging" is the thing to do. So here it goes. I guess I'll give it a try!
