The Brothersen's

So I was looking at everyone's blogs, and realized it has been too long since my last post. I am horrible. But we started building our house in August, and life has just been crazy. So we are supposed to be in our new house by the end of June!! So exciting and so ready to be done with it. It has been quite the process, and very stressful. Too many decisions for me to make. Brandon has been awesome through the whole process, I am not the best at making the final decision, but he has been very helpful. Kaybree is so excited to be in her new purple bedroom and keeps asking when we stop at the new house, if she can live there! Kaybree also had her 3rd Birthday in May. She has grown up so fast! She is one amazing little girl, and we love her to death! Hopefully when we are done with the house I will be able to keep caught up on blogging better. Here are a few pics from Kaybree's Dance recital in May ( I stole them from Julie!).

We were blessed with this beautiful baby girl in April. Cory and Julie's newest addition. She weighed 6#5oz, 19 " long. She is so sweet, I love the smell of newborn babies!

So I am a horrible blogger....it's been over 2 months since my last post. The reason is Brandon got me a new camera for Mother's day/Birthday, so I have been trying to figure it out and get it connected to the computer. It is such a nice and really expensive camera, but it should last a life time. Thanks Brand, you are the sweetest (most of the time)! Sorry this post is super long, it is all the fun we have been having this summer. Enjoy!

Camping!!

So Brand had time off after the 24th so we decided to go camping. We went up Fairview Canyon and camped by Bouldger. Brandon has always wanted to camp there, so we decided to give it a try. We didn't have the best of luck getting the trailer set up, but a broken window can easily be replaced.

July 25th was my Mom's Birthday, so on the 26th we had dutch-oven dinner on the mountain for her. Troy, Kira, and Makynlee came up for the day, and Cory, Julie, and Maycie joined us for camping. We were able to go for a Rhino ride and enjoy the beautiful mountains. Hope you had a Happy Birthday MOM!! Your the best!

24th of July

So after the parade in Fairview, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house to play. Kaybree absolutely loved playing in the pool. She is a big teaser and was getting eveyone wet. Maycie wasn't so sure about it, she didn't like getting water in her eyes, but she didn't care at the lake. They were like complete opposites. Makynlee loved playing in the water with her cousins. We had a lot of fun!

Then that night we went to the Derby in Fairview. My dad has been the anouncer for many years, but he finally decided to give it a try. It was so much fun. It was his first and last time, he just wanted to do it once!

So my Dad was a winner in his heat, so he went to the finals, and he tood 3RD Place. He got a big trophey and money. Way to go DAD, you did awesome!

Great Grandpa Jack's Birthday

For Jack's birthday, Joell decided to go to the cemetary and let balloons go. It was fun, and made us stop and remember Grandpa Jack. He was such a good guy, and we miss him very much. Happy Birthday Jack!

We went to Grandma Joell's that night to watch the fireworks, but they were cancelled because fo the weather. We had fun anyways!

One evening we decided to go for a ride up the power plant, and we got up there and ran into the Peel family. We have been on plenty of rides and camping trips with them, so it was kind-of crazy we ran into them. So then we just rode along with them.
